My first runway show of the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week 2011, Spring/ Summer 2012 Collections! Tadashi Shoji is a Los Angeles based designer who founded his business in 1982. Not only does he focus himself on fashion design, but has also launched a Home Collection line featuring different accessories for the home. His Spring 2012 collection was noted to have been inspired by “the splendor of the tulip”, which can be clearly noted by the vast array of colors in his petal-inspired designs. Celebrities including Helen Mirren, Queen Latifah, Deborah Messing, Beyonce, and Blake Lively.
Last spring, I had the awesome opportunity to travel to New York City for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week – Fall 2011 Collections. Here are some shots from the Pamella Roland show from last season.

This summer, I again had the awesome opportunity to do a photo shoot with Things Not Seen. I have actually known the members of the band since long before they were ‘Things Not Seen”, and always enjoy getting together with them to shoot promo shots for them. This year we went down to Galveston, and I have to say, picked the windiest day possible. I don’t think I have ever had to fight the wind so hard just to take a picture, but somehow we worked through it and got some really great shots for their upcoming album, Deeper. Here are a few of the shots from the session!

I met Micah and Melissa a few years ago through a the Annual Collide Youth Conference help at my church, The Way Church. We have become great friends and I was so excited when they asked me to do their photography for their engagement and wedding.
