Stephanie & Patrick {Wedding}

It has been far too long since I have posted anything on my blog. I would love to pretend like there has been some really good reason that I have been so silent for so long – but really, I just think that life got chaotic and I got really behind. But, it is about time to change that and get some photos back up here…

So, I thought I would start with a truly wonderful wedding that I had the joy to photograph last spring. (I guess we will consider this a “Happy Anniversary Month” post for Stephanie and Patrick). Stephanie’s mom and my mom have been friends for years, and I was so excited when she contacted me about shooting her wedding. It was such a beautiful day for such a beautiful couple. Seriously, the love that these two have for each other is so evident, and I loved getting to capture their day!

I am already looking forward to more photos with Stephanie and Patrick as they grow their sweet family over the years!

Sean & Maureen {Wedding}

Sean and Maureen had a beautiful wedding at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center a few weeks before Christmas. It was a beautiful ceremony on an absolutely beautiful Texas day. Every detail – from Maureen’s amazing shoes (which I am still obsessed with), to the dinner, to the love-themed Christmas ornaments – was wonderful. I am so honored to have been a part of this lovely couple’s wedding day! Congratulations to Sean and Maureen!

Barron & Brittney {Wedding}

I photographed Barron & Brittney’s engagement pictures last year, and had the honor of being a part of their beautiful wedding in November at the Lonestar Flight Museum in Galveston. Although my primary role of the day was as a bridesmaid, I just couldn’t help but take my camera along to capture what I could in between my bridesmaid duties. Although I didn’t get to take any pictures of the bride and groom together (I know… what is wrong with me?! Don’t I know how to multi-task by now?!), I did get to hang out with Barron before the wedding and take a couple pictures of him. I hope you enjoy what little photos I did take…

During the reception, I only had my camera out for about a minute and a half. And during that very short time, I captured a few pictures of my wonderful pastors dancing. I absolutely adore them and just had to share a few shots of them on here too!

Jessica {Bridal}

I am so excited to finally upload Jessica’s bridal portraits! There is just something about bridal sessions – maybe it’s the little girl inside of me – but I absolutely love photographing brides. And this stunning bride was no exception to that. I had such a great time photographing Jessica in our race against daylight fading. Can’t wait to load her engagement and wedding pictures soon!

Chuck & Rachel {1 Year Anniversary}

Meet my dearest, closest, best friend Rachel! (And her awesome husband Chuck). I have known Rachel about 3 weeks short of my entire life and always consider it such an honor to photograph her and Chuck. When Chuck and Rachel got married, they had a rather terrible wedding day photography experience – which was not my fault since I was in the wedding and couldn’t be photographer and bridesmaid at the same time! We have been trying to plan some time for them to get all dressed up again and take some nice “wedding” photos for their house, and finally found time! I am happy to finally introduce Mr. & Mrs. Chuck P!

Aaron & Andrea {Wedding}

It is always such an honor to be a part of someone’s wedding day. I met Andrea about 8 years ago in our youth group at church and was really excited when she and Aaron called me to ask about the photography for their big day! The ceremony was beautiful, held in the sanctuary of The Way Church, and officiated by our pastor, Matt Woodfill. They make such a beautiful couple and it has been so awesome to see God’s hand on their relationship.

Lili & Eddie {Wedding}

Over the summer, I had the opportunity to travel to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to photograph the wedding of a great friend of mine. Lili and Eddie had a beautiful wedding on the beach right outside of Puerto Vallarta. Lili made such a gorgeous bride and was radiating with happiness on her special day. I had so much fun being a part of their day!
