Bo & Leslie {Couple}

Do you remember the song “I Love To Laugh”, from Mary Poppins?? When I was a kid, I watched that movie so many times that I could probably quote the whole movie from beginning to end. My mom said that when I was six and had the chicken pox, I watched it over and over again… It would end and I would start it again.

Bottom line (having absolutely nothing to do with Mary Poppins or chicken pox), I love to laugh! Not just the courtesy laugh that you let out to make someone feel better about their not-so-funny joke, but the kind of laugh that leaves you in pain after. The kind of laugh that you can’t really breathe or control the tears coming from your eyes. Those laughs are my favorite!

This couple is so wonderful and so full of laughter! I really enjoyed spending the day with them, exploring a new area, laughing all the way. Bo has the amazing ability to make Leslie laugh at just about anything, and I had such a fun time capturing their love and their laughter!

Jonathan and Marlo {Engaged}

Lately, I feel like I have photographed a lot of close friends and family… So many engagements, weddings, babies, and birthdays happening within my friends and family! This session definitely falls within that category as well.

Marlo and I went to school together until fourth grade, went on family vacations together most of our childhood, and ended up being roommates our freshman year of college. She is definitely one of the longest friendships in my life, and she is so dear to me. She and Jonathan will be getting married in September, and although I will not be photographing their special day, I am honored to be a bridesmaid.

Meet my friends Brittney and Barron. Brittney and I have known each other for around ten years now, and we have had some really awesome adventures together (Puerto Vallarta, anyone?). I have so enjoyed getting to watch their relationship grow and had so much fun photographing their engagement pictures. I am so honored to be a part of their big day next month! Congratulations to you both!!!!

Christian & Leah {Couple}

Happy 4th of July! (Well, 5th of July now!) I hope you all had a wonderful day celebrating our freedom. I thought it was a great day to show my recent photo shoot with a really sweet couple, Christian and Leah. Nic & Ariel {Couple Session}

Confession of the day: couple sessions are definitely at the top of the list of my favorite sessions! And, this couple very quickly made it to my list of top favorite photo shoots! Ariel and I had been talking about this session for at least a few months leading up to our session, and we were both so excited when we finally scheduled the shoot (I don’t know that Nic was quite as excited as we were… but he warmed up to the idea once we got started).

Nic and Ariel got married last fall, but didn’t have much time to get great photos of them after the wedding. So we took some time to try to capture them as they are – and they sure are a beautiful couple, don’t you agree?! After fighting through Texas humidity, killer mosquitoes, and getting my car stuck in the mud… here are some of my favorites from our session (sorry that I couldn’t narrow it down more!):

Like I said… It was way too hard to narrow down my favorites from this shoot! So glad that I got to work with this sweet couple, and hoping for many more shoots with them in the future!

Micah & Melissa {Engagement}

I met Micah and Melissa a few years ago through a the Annual Collide Youth Conference help at my church, The Way Church. We have become great friends and I was so excited when they asked me to do their photography for their engagement and wedding. Chuck & Rachel {1 Year Anniversary}

Meet my dearest, closest, best friend Rachel! (And her awesome husband Chuck). I have known Rachel about 3 weeks short of my entire life and always consider it such an honor to photograph her and Chuck. When Chuck and Rachel got married, they had a rather terrible wedding day photography experience – which was not my fault since I was in the wedding and couldn’t be photographer and bridesmaid at the same time! We have been trying to plan some time for them to get all dressed up again and take some nice “wedding” photos for their house, and finally found time! I am happy to finally introduce Mr. & Mrs. Chuck P!
